Fans of The Voice in the U.K. were treated to a commercial that aired during the broadcast which teased Harry Styles’ solo music.
The short clip shows Harry Styles opening a curtain and staring directly into the camera before the date of release, April 7, flashes on screen.
Typically, fans on Twitter lost their minds.
Just last year Styles penned a deal with Columbia Records, but it wasn’t clear when we would hear his first solo venture as he immediately signed on to work with director Christopher Nolan on the WWII epic Dunkirk.
With that out of the way, Styles is now able to put his focus back on the music. Early reports from Hits Daily Double have suggested that it will sound like a cross between “David Bowie and Queen.”
The report stated: “In marked contrast to One Direction’s production by committee, Styles has crafted a set that recalls the regal high-water mark of ’70s British rock, Bowie and Queen in particular.”
