Queen fans can take a collective sigh of relief now that we've got a look at Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury.
The Mr. Robot star signed on to portray the flamboyant Queen front man in Bohemian Rhapsody, after Sacha Baron Cohen claimed he turned the role down because it sanitized the singer's wild ways.
This photo, shared by Entertainment Weekly, shows Malek nailing Mercury's look during the band's Live Aid performance in 1985.

“When you’re able to open your eyes and see a different person staring back at you in the mirror,” Malek told EW about his transformation into Mercury, “it’s a very affirming moment.”
But what about that iconic voice? “We’re going to use Freddie as much as possible and use myself as much as possible,” he revealed. “I’m in Abbey Road [Studios] right now if that should say anything to you. I’m not working on my acting.”
Bohemian Rhapsody will be in theaters on Dec. 25, 2018.
