P!nk returned to the iHeartRadio Music Festival this year in Las Vegas for an amazing performance, and before she hit the stage, the singer/songwriter spoke to iHeartRadio about a number of topics, including her inspirational speech at this year's VMAs.
During an interview backstage, P!nk opened up about parenting, and the speech she made directed at her 6-year-old daughter Willow.
"I'm always overthinking parenting, and being a girl, and what it all means, especially, with the current climate that we live in," she said. "Willow, she's the love of my life, and I just want young girls to give themselves a break; young girls, older girls, I just want us all to give ourselves a break a little bit.”

During her VMA speech, P!nk spoke about self-image, directed at her daughter as she told a story about Willow.
She recalled: "I said to her, 'Do you see me growing my hair?' She said, 'No, mama.' I said, 'Do you see me changing my body?' 'No, mama.' 'Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?' 'No, mama.' 'Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?' 'Yes, Mama.' 'OK! So, baby girl. We don't change. We take the gravel and the shell and we make a pearl. And we help other people to change so they can see more kinds of beauty.'"
P!nk also told us why she likes to fly during her shows.
"Number one, it's fun. Number two, I saw a lot of dancers doing it, but never the singer, and I figured that would be a fun thing to do, and it's fun to sing upside down. I was a gymnast for eight years, so I'm sort of completing the circle."
