Justin Bieber told fans early Sunday that he is “struggling.”
The Canadian singer, who recently turned 25, posted a throwback photo of himself flanked by manager Scooter Braun and rap star Kanye West.
Bieber captioned it: “Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys. Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird.”
The singer added: “I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your guys to pray for me. God is faithful and ur prayers really work thanks .. the most human season I’ve ever been in facing my stuff head on.”
Bieber recently opened up about his mental health issues in an interview with Vogue, admitting that he was “depressed” and “lonely” on his Purpose tour.
“My mom was depressed a lot of my life and my dad has anger issues,” Bieber revealed. “Stuff that they passed on that I’m kind of mad they gave me.”
In an interview last year, Braun said there was a period when he feared Bieber would die.
