The Proclaimers, best known for walking 500 miles (and walking 500 more) in the late ‘80s, are back with a tribute to their Scottish hometown.
The 56-year-old twins debuted a video Wednesday for their new song “Streets Of Edinburgh.” Directed by Rianne White, it showcases the beauty, grit and humanity of the city.
“Depending on your viewpoint, this place is blessed or cursed,” the song explains.
The Proclaimers – Charlie Reid and Craig Reid – make a cameo appearance around the 3:00 mark.
“Streets Of Edinburgh” is from the duo’s acclaimed new album, Angry Cyclist.
