Hack Of The Night : How to keep your spices from getting clumpy

When I moved into the place I live in now, I bought a rotating spice rack thing and I've maybe used one or two of the 20-some spices.  When I went to use one that I had used before, I noticed it was all clumpy and I had to break it up before I could use it.  I just assumed that when this stuff sits, that's just what happens, but apparently not.

The reason that the spices get all clumpy is because when you shake the spice into whatever recipe you're making, the steam from the cooking gets into the shaker, causing moisture, and then clumping.  What you're supposed to do is put the spice into your hand, away from the pot, and then add it to your dish.
