Just The Facts : Why there's nothing at the end of Avengers Endgame

If you've seen any of the Marvel movies, you know that there is usually something at the end of the movie after the credits.  It's usually some kind of tie-in to what's to come.  The Russo Brothers made it public right from the start that there wasn't going to be a post-credit scene, but why?  Here's what they said..

The hammering on metal sound was just that.  It was a nod to the original Iron Man movie (where it all started) where he was hammering together the suit he used to escape the cave.  Not nearly as exciting as other post-credit things, but still very poetic.
