  • Cops for Kids 2019

    Cops for Kids is a charitable foundation that is committed to assisting children that have suffered a medical, physical or traumatic crisis in their young lives. We tirelessly work to raise funds to continue our ongoing support to the children in the communities that we serve. Cops For Kids has many events throughout the year. However, their signature event is the Cops for Kids Ride. This gruelling ten-day ride occurs each year over some very challenging terrain. The Annual Cops for Kids Ride departs Kelowna on Friday September 6th to raise funds for children in medical, physical or traumatic crisis within South Eastern BC. During their 10 days on the road, cyclists will cover 1,000km before their return to Kelowna on Sunday September 15th.

    The 17th Annual Queen City Cruise rolls into Nelson on Friday September 6 and Saturday September 7! See muscle cars, street rods, classics and collects in all their glory. It starts at Railtown Friday with the early registration, a big parade followed by a massive street dance with live music from Dallas Walbaum and Rukus. Events go from 1pm-7:30pm. On Saturday it’s the Baker Street Show and Shine, Poker walk and run, plus live entertainment all day long! Events go from 9am-9pm. Wayne will be live on-location from 1-5pm for the early registration!

Trail IncrEDIBLE Market will be holding a Farmers Market that day and food trucks will be on hand to feed your active body. Join us and explore a new activity... visit with like minded neighbours...try a new sport...keep healthy in mind and body. More details will be posted as exhibitors sign up and schedules are finalized. Looking for participants and volunteers for running the event. EZ Rock will be live on location from 10-1pm!
