Big changes on the way for Selkirk College Silver King Campus

Big changes will soon be underway at the Selkirk College Silver King Campus in Nelson. 

The ground breaking ceremony took place yesterday for the campuses' new cafeteria, student services building, and aboriginal gathering place 

Minster of Advanced Education, Andrew Wilkinson, showed his support for the project at the ceremony. 

The total cost of the project is 18.9 million dollars; over 16 million coming from the federal and provincial governments. 

College President Angus Graeme is excited to see some big changes at the school.

Trades programs at the Silver King campus are also receiving a big boost with 187-thousand-dollars going to new classroom equipment.
