Non profit group hoping to do feasibility study for seniors housing project in Harrop Proctor
The RDCK is sending a letter of support when it comes to feasibility study for a seniors housing project in Harrop-Proctor.
Area Director Ramona Faust says the Harrop and District Community Centre is hoping to get 10-thousand dollars for a study, with funds from the Rural Dividend Project Development Funding Stream.
It's early in the process, but she says the study would allow them to see what that appetite for the housing is, what funding is available and to see if there would be any interested partners before moving forward.
Meanwhile, the RDCK will apply to the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund to fund the Balfour Water System Upgrade and Metering Project and the Ymir Water System Reservoir Upgrade and Replacement Project.
