Stolen foreign currency and rifles found in Nelson arrest
Nelson Police have made a couple of arrests when it comes to a Break and Enter earlier this week.
On Tuesday, Police received a report of suspicious man attempting to exchange foreign currency at a local currency exchange.
It was suspected the money was stolen from a b&e at a residence in RCMP jurisdiction on Monday.
Police arrested a couple of men attempting to flee the scene in a vehicle.
A search found approximately 5-thousand dollars in foreign currency and 2 high powered rifles allegedly stolen from the same break in.
The men were charged with possession of stolen property and various firearm related offences.
They'll be in court next week.
Both men are said to be known to police.
The vehicle used in the offence has been seized for the Civil Forfeiture process.
