Tenders out for Trail Regional Airport Terminal Building

Construction of the Trail Regional Airport Terminal Building is expected to start early this Spring.

The City of Trail has launched a call for tenders, inviting eligible contractors to bid on the civil works and construction.

The estimated construction budget is 2.5 million dollars, with 1.18 million in funding coming from the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure's BC Air Access Program.

The work will include improved parking, designated arrival and departure zones and more passenger space in the new terminal.

Councillor Kevin Jolly calls the project a milestone for the city.

The tender closes March 28th.

Meanwhile substantial completion of the project is expected by this December.
