Trail part of Canadian Health Measures Survey
Approximately 500 households in Trail will have a chance to be a part of the voluntary Canadian Health Measures Survey, a national survey conducted by Statistics Canada.
Spokesperson Anne Lostracco says it will be a two phase survey, the first part an in home interview, the 2nd phase at a mobile clinic, to undergo a number of tests.
Data from the survey will help provide an accurate portrait of the health of Canada.
It will also help adapt programs and services to the populations needs.
Trail is one of 16 sites selected across the country to participate.
Households are selected randomly.
Meanwhile she says it's an interesting survey to be a part of, participants will get some lab measure results that they typically wouldn't be tested for.
