Unionized KIS workers ratify new collective agreement
Unionized Kootenay Insurance Services workers have ratified a new 4 year collective agreement.
Ratification meetings were held in Cranbrook, Trail and Nelson, and the 24 USW members ratified the new agreement by a substantial margin.
The new agreement contains improvements in Wages, with a 7.4 percent increase over 4 years and a 500-dollar signing bonus...a new floater day for Trail and Cranbrook, and Easter Monday a Stat holiday for Nelson, as well as improvements to benefits, and extra vacation added for part time employees.
This is the feel-good video you have to watch today! Be honest, when was the last time you saw such gorgeous images? The video is phenomenal and that song from First Aid Kit is a perfect soundtrack for such a visual feast.
We love the Dude Perfect videos. This one's pretty neat as it has been filmed with some LEDs and glow-in-the-dark objects. Perfect, as always!
Those of you who watched Mall Cop 2 know it was a terrible movie, but did you know it could have been a huge hit as a thriller? Just take a look at this fan-made trailer... if you dare.
