West Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital District Board has passed it's 2017 budget
The West Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital District Board has passed it's 2017 budget.
The total is around 7.8 million, and they're keeping taxation flat..while putting close to a million dollars into reserves.
Chair Aimee Watson says that's good news...as they anticipate some big capital improvements needed in the future.
Some of the big ticket items include the Slocan Community Health Centre Generator Replacement at344-thousand dollars.
649-thousand is going to a SPECT/CT at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital
The board covers 40 percent of costs on capital, equipment, and Information Management Information Technology projects.
