A couple of Kootenay women looking to be local Green Party Candidate
There are two potential candidates in the Kootenay Columbia riding running federally for the Green Party in the upcoming federal election.
Abra Brynne from Nelson, is currently the Executive Director of the Central Kootenay Food Policy Council.
The other potential candidate is Kerri Wall of Fernie, who works for Interior Health doing public policy facilitation with local and regional governments around the Kootenays.
While the party will choose the candidate July 14th, there will be a meet and greet locally tomorrow in Nelson at the Emporium Room at the Hume Hotel from 7-9.
Kootenay-Columbia residents who are members of the Green Party of Canada will be eligible to vote to nominate the candidate
