A number of road resurfacing projects locally this Spring and Summer
A sure sign spring is here.
Road work is being planned across the province and in the Kootenay Boundary.
More than $85 million is being invested in highway and side road improvements in the southern Interior in 2018.
That includes resurfacing Highway 3/95 near Creston, from Arrow Creek Road to Yahk.
Highway 3 from the Kootenay Pass Summit to Summit Creek near Creston will also be resurfaced, along with Highway 3A, from Ooteschenia near Castlegar to Playmor Junction at South Slocan.
There will also be a 25 km project on North Fork Road near Grand Forks.
While projects take place, drivers can expect minor delays, and at times single lane traffic.
