Big national conference coming to Nelson in September

Upwards of 2-hundred rural experts, policy makers, and practitioners will converge on Nelson in September.

Selkirk College is partnering with the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting the sustainability of rural Canada, for a big national conference.

Dr. Sarah Breen is the President of the Foundation as well as a researcher for Selkirk college.

She says the main purpose is to bring together anyone who has an interestest in rural places and the challenges we deal with living in rural places, as well as the solutions we come up with.

The theme this year is Different by Design, and it's open to members and non members.
