Creston and CUPE employees ratify new 5 year agreement
A successful conclusion to contract negotiations between the Town of Creston and CUPE Local 2092.
The town and their unionized employees have all voted in favour of ratifying a new 5 year agreement.
The new agreement is retroactive to March 1st, providing a wage increase of 9.65 percent over the five year period.
Mayor Ron Toyota says the agreement allows them to move forward with certainty over the longer term.
