Emergency Response Exercise at Trail Regional Airport Thursday
The Trail Regional Airport will be the site of a big Emergency Response Exercise Thursday.
Regional Airport Manager Robert Baker says they're planning on testing major fuel spill response procedures, and seeking gaps in processes, to drive improvements.
It's also to help develop trust based relationships with participating agencies including Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue, Trail RCMP, BC Ambulance Service, and Pacific Coastal Airline
The exercise will take place at the south end of the airport.
Baker says it won't interrupt scheduled flights at the airport or traffic flow on Highway 22A
