Graffiti a concern in Nelson, after offensive marks were sprayed early Saturday morning
Nelson Police have some big concerns after vehicles, homes, a church and school were hit with graffiti early Saturday morning.
The area from Carbonate Street through Mill Street and Ward Street in the Lower Uphill area of Nelson was targeted.
Police say the type of graffiti is a big concern for investigators and the community, with Swastikas, upside down crosses and offensive marks sprayed throughout..
Police are asking residents to check any home security video footage they may have, and anyone with information is asked to call Nelson Police.
Meanwhile police also responded to another incident early Saturday morning.
They got a report of a break and enter in progress at the Fortis Generation Office in South Slocan.
Two men were arrested without incident.
They'll be in Nelson Court Today facing several charges.
