Long list of charges for suspect after a robbery and pursuit in Grand Forks Sunday

A 36 year old man is facing charges after a robbery and pursuit starting in Grand Forks Sunday morning.

Police got a call of a stolen dirt bike, and while patrolling the Highway 3 area east of Phoenix Road, saw the stolen motorcycle travelling with another motorcycle, and a stolen Ford F350 and Travel Trailer.

RCMP attempted to stop the vehicles, which they said fled in a dangerous manner.

They were able to follow the truck and trailer, which disengaged during the chase and was abandoned on the side of the road.

The truck was abandoned in an orchard area down the Danville Highway.

The driver took off on foot to a farmhouse, allegedly brandished a knife against the owners, and demanded the keys to a vehicle, before fleeing the farm in another truck.

A spike belt near Greenwood allowed police to locate the truck, and the driver, running into another residence.

The 36  year old man was then arrested without incident.

He's facing a laundry list of charges, and is being held in custody.
