Montreal Alumni take to the ice against the Trail Old Timers this Friday night

There's a big game coming up in Trail Friday night as the Montreal Canadians Alumni hits the ice against the Trail Old Timers.

Tom Gawrletz is the President of the Trail Hockey Club Society..he says there's going to be a lot of talent coming including Steve Shutt, a 5 time Stanley Cup Champion.

He says there's more than 10 Stanley Cup rings on the guys coming to town with players including Chris Nilan, Stephane Richer, and Patrice Brisebois. Enforcer John Scott will also be playing.

Most of the Trail Old Timers are former Smokies or junior players.

Funds raised goes towards scholarships for Trail and area hockey players.

The game is Friday night at 7 at the Trail Memorial Centre.

Tickets are 15 dollars in advance and can be purchased at the Trail Smoke Eaters office or Gerricks.
