New exhibit opens today at the Riverfront Centre in Trail
The new Riverfront Centre in Trail has been open for 3 months now, and in that time more than 25 thousand people have come through the door.
Museum Archives and Manager Sarah Benson-Lord says it shows how much of a need there was for a building like that.
In recognition of the 70th Anniversary of the flood of 1948, The Trail Museum and Archives has developed a new exhibit called The Flood of '48: A River Ran Through It!
The exhibit makes extensive use of the Trail Historical Society's archival photograph collection and includes an 8-minute film production of the flood from the multi-media collection.
The Trail Historical Society will be at the Trail Riverfront Centre holding a membership drive today to answer questions about the exhibit and how you can volunteer.
