New International opportunity on the way for Selkirk Students

There will be a new international opportunity for Selkirk Students

Selkirk College and Ireland's Institute of Technology Tralee have inked a memorandum of understanding, that will see the two schools build a partnership.

Manager of International Education and Development Danny Beatty says there are a lot of benefits of studying abroad, including access to work placements in Ireland and across the European Union.

In Ireland there's no language barrier, and they have competitive tuition and accommodation packages.

There are opportunities for students in business, digital art and new media, hospitality and tourism, engineering, computing, nursing and social sciences.

Students would do two years at Selkirk, and then transfer.

They have information on their website

Selkirk College also has international partnerships with a number of different countries.
