Search and Rescue crews from around the region called out after climber fell behind KBRH
It was a lengthy rescue yesterday in Trail, after a climber fell in the bluffs behind the Trail Regional Hospital.
Search and Rescue members from South Columbia, Rossland, Castlegar and Grand Forks were called out.
High Angle slope teams were used as well as the Helicopter extraction team to rescue the climber.
A geo tech specialist was also brought on site to assess the stability of the rock face and stayed on site while members completed the rescue around 5 yesterday...
Police got a 9-1-1 call yesterday morning, after a witness saw a person fall several meters from a rock face above the hospital.
There's no word on the condition of the climber.
