Southeast Major Crime Unit continues to investigate death of Castlegar man
Not a lot of information, but a search warrant was executed last week in Castlegar, when it comes to the investigation into the death of Jordan Workman.
Sergeant Annie Linteau says the Southeast Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
The search warrant was in the 31-hundred block of Columbia Avenue on Friday, and involved the major crime unit, with help from Castlegar, Trail, and Kootenay Boundary Regional Detachments.
In January 38 year old Workman was identified as the man who was found dead in a burnt out car on the highway between Trail and Castlegar, police confirmed the death as a homicide.
At the time police say he was a targeted victim, and the death didn't reflect any increased safety risks to the public.
