Trail RCMP called after another close call in Warfield crosswalk

Another scary incident for students in the school crosswalk in Warfield on Friday.

RCMP  say a vehicle drove through a red light and around a teacher and students who were crossing the road in the crosswalk on Schofield Highway.

No one was hurt, and the teacher wasn't able to get a plate, but the vehicle is described as a grey Toyota or Hyundai 4 door hatchback.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or CrimeStoppers.

Trail RCMP were also called to A single vehicle rollover on the Cascade Highway in Rossland Sunday.

Police say a the vehicle had rolled onto it's roof on the roadway, although the 31 year old driver and passenger weren't injured.

RCMP say drugs and alcohol were a factor.

The man now has an August court date.
