Weather records broken across the province, in our region it was for warm temperatures
There were a number of records broken last week across the province, some for snow, and some for rain...fortunately the ones in our region were for warm temperatures.
There were a number of record breaking temperatures Friday.
In Castlegar, the temperature was recorded at 5.3 degrees, breaking the former record of 4.8 degrees set in 2008.
Nelson went up to 5.5 degrees, breaking a 2006 record.
In Warfield 5 degrees broke the record Friday, compared to the former record of 2.2 degrees set in 2012.
Yesterday the temperatures were warmer in spots so there's a chance more weather records fell over the weekend.
