WildSafe BC gearing up for the season in Rossland and Trail

It's been a busy spring already when it comes to bear sightings in the Rossland Trail area.

WildSafe BC Coordinator Desiree Profili says there have been calls from the Sunningdale area, and sightings in Rossland.

There have also been calls about bears already in the garbage in the West Trail area.

She says now is the time to manage attractants, things like garbage and bird feeders.

And it's not just bears, Profili says they've also had calls all winter about coyotes in the Trail and Rossland area.

Meanwhile Profili says the Rossland Museum is having an electric fencing workshop coming up on the 15th of this month.
