    A fictitious male stripper troupe (played by a cast of some of Canada's best improvisational comedians) performs a sexylarious improv comedy show. These guys try to be just comes out funny. Constantly grooving and gyrating in between scenes, they banter with the crowd and perform their hilarious twist on improv sketches. They sing, they 'dance'. These guys are oiled up and ready to make you laugh. A male stripper parody and improv comedy show (19+ only). The Comic Strippers will be coming to The Bailey Theatre on Saturday June 22 at 8pm.     Storm the Stairs is the most unique fitness challenge (or friendly fitness walk) in BC! It will top up your summer activities and get you ready for winter fun. The course features three routes, The Express, The Grande, & the all new EZ Steps Route sponsored by EZ Rock. an easier route that the everyone can enjoy while still participating for a great cause. Enjoy this challenge, runners and walkers alike experience some of the most scenic views of the Columbia River and Rock Walls of historic West Trail. Online registration will be available until August 30, 2019 All Individual/Team offline registration forms with fees and waivers must be completed and returned to United Way office no later than Thursday, September 12, 2019. Team Challenge: Teams can be a minimum of 3 persons with a maximum of 5 persons. Teams are encouraged to dress alike (for business’ t-shirts with company logo, just a group of friends please be creative but safe).

Each month from now to June 2019, a local person recognized in their field will choose a book and lead a discussion at the Nelson Public Library. Discussions will take place on the third Thursday of each month, and registration for each discussion opens on the first of the preceding month. For each book, the discussion leader will offer a brief commentary of the upcoming book.
