September 16, 2017, at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, promises fans the same unbelievable live experience, with a lineup of the 90’s’ most iconic acts, including Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa, Rob Base, Young MC and C+C Music Factory.     May 31st is Tim Hortons Camp Day! Camp Day is the one day each year when every penny from coffee sales at Tim Hortons Restaurants is donated to the Tim Horton Children's Foundation. On Camp Day, when guests buy a coffee and participate in various fundraising activities, they will help send more than 14,000 kids on the camping adventure of a lifetime. Campers aged nine to 12 years attend a 10-day summer camp session or a seven-day winter camp session, at one of the Foundation's six camps in Canada and the United States.

Sponsored by the Kettle Valley Station Pub, the race features a 10 km course, down the scenic Kettle Valley Rail Trail (KVR), with stops at, and samples from, local craft breweries, including tastings from the Cannery Brewing Company, Bad Tattoo Brewing, Tin Whistle Brewing, Barley Mill Brew Pub and Highway 97 Brewery.   • CMHA - Ride Don't Hide

    On Sunday, June 25th, The Canadian Mental Health Association - South Okanagan Similkameen Branch will be holding their 5th annual "Ride Don't Hide" community bike ride to raise funds for mental health services in our region. Riders will start and finish at KVR Middle School and travel either 12k, 24k, or 36k on the KVR Trail. This is not a race but a community bike ride to raise awareness of the importance of good mental health. Registration is $45 (children under 12 free) or $30 if you register before April 30th.
  • Rotary Club of Penticton - RIBFEST

    Rotary Ribfest will bring Okanagan Lake Park alive with a full weekend of fantastic family fun. There will be a rib cook-off between four champion barbecue teams from across Canada, music throughout the entire event, entertainment and activities for children and youth, as well as a beverage garden and loads of vendors. Organized by the Penticton Rotary Club, this event drew 35,000 people to the park in 2016. Over the weekend Rotary raised funds for ongoing community projects for the citizens of Penticton.
