• I Love the 90's Tour

    After a massive 2016 with over 110 shows across North America, the I LOVE THE 90’s TOUR will continue its momentum in 2017 with 40+ new stops in the North America. The top-selling tour, which originally announced only 29 dates, quickly became the year’s most sought-after show, eventually racking up 110+ stops and selling out a number of arenas across the country. September 16, 2017, at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton, promises fans the same unbelievable live experience, with a lineup of the 90’s’ most iconic acts, including Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa, Rob Base, Young MC and C+C Music Factory. Tickets for the I Love the 90’s Tour go on sale Thursday, April 13, at 10 AM.
  • New Museum Exhibit - British Columbia's War 1914 - 1918

    The Royal BC Museum has dug deep into its collections to unearth powerful material about the Great War, creating a traveling exhibition that will soon set up camp at the Penticton Museum & Archives. The exhibition, called British Columbia's War, 1914-1918, aims to educate British Columbians about the contributions of their forebears in the First World War. It will be at the Penticton Museum & Archives from January 26 to May 29, 2017.
  • Fresh BC Talent Quest - Season 5

    Performer registrations are ongoing until April 1 for ages 9 - 18 years. All acts and skill levels welcomed. Performer registration ($35) fees include Performers Music Workshop - Saturday, April 8, at the SANDMAN Hotel. Preliminary round shows are scheduled on Saturdays starting April 22, April 29 and May 6 at the Elite Restaurant (340 Main St.) in Penticton. Finals are on Saturday May 13, at the Orchard House hall. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners in each age group and there will be special gifts for all performers. Cake and celebration to follow. All shows are open to the public and door donations would be appreciated in support of our SEASON 5 - Talent Quest show.

    Last year, Penticton raised $40,000 from their Door-to-Door Campaign but this year, we are seriously lacking in volunteer power to make this happen again in 2017. Want to help us make an impact this April during the Daffodil Campaign? Stretch out those legs that have been hibernating all winter for an amazing cause and volunteer as a Door-to-Door Canvasser for April.

Self-Help by Dummiez takes hilarious shots at our society's dependency on easy-answers, quick-fixes, and pseudo-scientific pop-psychology. Self-Help by Dummiez opens April 6 and runs until April 29.     Zebra and quagga musssels are moving closer to BC every year. On Tuesday, April 25th, Stephanie Hester will talk about the steps Montana is taking to prevent an economic and ecological disaster. Come and meet Hilo, one of Alberta's mussel-sniffing dogs and his handler Cindy Sawchuk. Cindy leads the Conservation K-9 program in Alberta and the team has worked closely with Montana. There are limited seats for this event so please make sure you register.
