• An Evening with City and Colour

    City and Colour is coming to Penticton on Monday, April 10, at the Cleland Community Theatre. City and Colour will perform in an intimate theatre environment visiting 25 cities from coast-to-coast, many for the first time, coinciding with Canada’s 150th anniversary. Dallas Green will perform songs from his vast award-winning catalogue, accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Matt Kelly from City and Colour’s touring band. Tickets on-sale Friday, February 3rd, at 12:00 pm.

  • Canadian Diabetes Association - Clothesline Drop Boxes

    The Clothesline program takes donations of gently used clothing and households items and sells them to raise funds to support the work of the Canadian Diabetes Association. The Canadian Diabetes Association uses this money to fund research for a cure for diabetes, raise awareness about the seriousness of diabetes, educate those with diabetes on what they need to do to manage their disease, and send children living with diabetes to summer camps. People that wish to donate to us can either use one of our drop boxes located around town or call us to schedule a free pick up.

  • Penticton Museum & Archives - Brown Bag Lecture Series

    The Penticton Museum hosts the ever popular series of Brown Bag Lectures every Tuesday from noon - 1:00 pm. Anyone wanting to spice up their lunch hour with interesting presentations and discussions on a variety of heritage and culture topics are encouraged to come to the museum auditorium and enjoy some great brain food.   • New Museum Exhibit - British Columbia's War 1914 - 1918

    The Royal BC Museum has dug deep into its collections to unearth powerful material about the Great War, creating a traveling exhibition that will soon set up camp at the Penticton Museum & Archives. The exhibition, called British Columbia's War, 1914-1918, aims to educate British Columbians about the contributions of their forebears in the First World War. It will be at the Penticton Museum & Archives from January 26 to May 29, 2017.
