    Dementia Dialogues are interactive learning opportunities for family caregivers to connect with one another and increase their knowledge about dementia and caregiving skills. Each session is an opportunity to learn about a different caregiving topic followed by a guided discussion. These informal sessions are facilitated to allow caregivers to share their experiences and to take home practical information. Cost by donation.     The Ooknakane Friendship Centre has organized a sock drive for the Penticton & area homeless. Five days a week the centre opens their doors to the homeless or those in need, for a hot coffee and a small, by donation breakfast. With the cold weather coming, their drop-ins need SOCKS. Sock donations can be dropped off at the Ooknakane Friendship Centre, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
