Long-time Summerland resident donates to Patient Care Tower Campaign

Another donation for the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, and their Patient Care Tower Campaign.

According to a news release, longtime Summerland resident Stan McPherson is the latest to step up to the plate, with a $35,000 donation. 

McPherson has owned Grant King Mens Wear in Penticton since 1973, and started working there in the 40's.

He says he's giving back to because four generations of his family have used the hosptial.

The South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation continues to push forward with their 20-million Patient Care Tower Campaign.

The tower should be finished by 2019.
