Candlelight vigil held Gyro Park in Penticton

It was a time to heal...it was a chance to come together as a communtiy.

A candlelight vigil took place Wednesday night at Gyro Park in Penticton...Hundreds of residents came out to show their support for the four victims of Monday's deadly shootings in this city.
The night organized by the Penticton and and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce and the Ooknakane Friendship Centre.

Penticton Mayor John Vassilaki, former Mayor and Penticton MLA Dan Ashton and RCMP Superintendant Ted De Jager all addressed the gathering.
After the speeches, those in attendance lit their candles to show their support.
