Joly to speak at Penticton & Wine Country Chamber Luncheon

Penticton & Wine Country Chamber of Commerce will welcome the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Tourism for a luncheon on Thursday, May23 at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.

The luncheon will be begin at noon and will run until 1:30 pm and is open to the public.

Minister Joly will speak about Canada’s new Federal Tourism Strategy and how it will create new opportunities for jobs and generate economic growth that benefits everyone. 

Chamber President Nicole Clark said, “We are pleased to have the Minister of Tourism visit Penticton just before we enter our busy tourist season.”

“The City of Penticton represents a broad spectrum of tourism business stakeholders,” said Clark.
