Penticton Chamber elects six new board members at AGM

Considering the AGM was a sold out event, interest in the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce appears to be at an all time high.

The Chamber held its AGM last night at Cascades Casino.
Six new members to the board of directors were elected, including Mathew Baran, Spencer Brown, Jason Cox, Scott McKinney, Brandon Sanchioni and Dale Cory.

Outgoing president Carey Schneiderat says the chamber hosted 48 events for its members in 2018.

The Chamber showed a profit of $14,500 last year.
Chamber membership is approaching the 600-member mark.

Next up for the Chamber...a table talk discussion on Cannabis in the Workplace, set for Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Chamber office on Ellis.

The next Business after business event goes Thursday March 14 at St. John Ambulance.
