The driver tried to flee by putting the vehicle in gear.... but was eventually pulled out of the vehicle and safely taken into custody.

The driver was held for a bail hearing on charges of resisting arrest, assaulting a peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime.

As Officers were dealing with the situation, information was received of another stolen vehicle in the area.
