Action Brought Against Small Fire East Of Enderby

The B.C Wildfire Service has confirmed that it is actioning a small fire in an area East of Enderby.

The Ashton Creek fire appeared on the wildfire map on Monday, and appears to have been reported on the weekend.

A Wildfire Service spokesperson said today that six firefighters and one helicopter were working that fire as of Monday.

There was no update provided as to today's action on the fire.

The Wildfire Service says that no structures are threatened by this fire, which is about 10km's East of Enderby.

The cause of that fire is unknown, and as of Tueday it was listed as .10 hectares in size.
