Assessment Numbers Look Good For Most Local Home Owners
The next few days will bring 2017 property assessment notices for 212,000 Okanagan home owners, and the same can be said for the 143,000 home owners in the Kootenay-Columbia region.
B.C Assessment says that the majority of residential home owners in the Okanagan will see the value of their property increase by between 0 and 30%, while the average Salmon Arm home is now worth an additional 7.2%.
Good news is also on the way for Sicamous residents, with their numbers up an average of 6.4%, and for Enderby residents - with a rise of 8.4%.
Assessments in the Kootenay-Columbia region are also up, with a rise of 5.3% in Golden and 8.3% in Revelstoke.
