Chase RCMP Report Results Of Busy Long Weekend

RCMP out in Chase have detailed their calls from the August long weekend.

Police say they dealt with a number of issues, including fourteen aggressive driving complaints, five motor vehicle accidents, three boating complaints, two reports of off-road vehicles operating contrary to restrictions, two reports of assault, and four cases of cigarettes thrown from vehicles.

Chase RCMP are using those calls to remind the public that tossing your cigarette butt is worth a $575 fine, while using an off-road vehicle during ongoing restrictions can bring a fine of $767.
