City Agrees To Contract For New Sewage Aeration Equipment

The City of Revelstoke has agreed to a new plan that it hopes will help with odour issues relating to the wastewater lagoon.

Council has agreed to a contract with Triplepoint Water Technologies, for the installation of aeration equipment at the first pond of the lagoon.

The estimated cost of this contract is said to be $210,000.

Triplepoint told Council that equipment and an installation team could be on site within five weeks.
