City Welcomes Public Input On Budget Proceedings
The City of Revelstoke is welcoming public comments on its annual budget, and five-year financial plan.
This year's proposed budget includes a 6% residential tax hike, a water rate increase, as well increases in the rates for sewer and garbage services.
Mayor Mark McKee says the time frame for comments will end in just over a week "Those comments are open until April the 18th. Go online to the City of Revelstoke website, have a look at the budget, and send your comments in. Council will be reviewing that."
