Cold Front Approaching Interior For Next Week

We've got a cold snap on the way next week.

Here's Environment Canada's Bobby Sekhon "We're going to get into a drier and colder stretch, with a ridge of cold arctic air building in. That arctic air is going to come in and give temperatures that are 10 degrees below normal."

He says that no - it's not really related to the polar vortex out East "It's going to be more of an arctic cold front that's coming down and bringing arctic air into the valleys of B.C. It's a slightly different mechanism but nonetheless - arctic orgins."

Those chilly temperatures are set to last all of next week.
