'Dash' Nabs Assault Suspect In Armstrong
Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP say that their Police Dog named 'Dash' was needed following an incident on Tuesday.
Police say that a panicked female called to say that she and her husband had been assaulted by their adult son.
RCMP attended the scene in Armstrong, and found the 62 year old female and 71 year old male outside of their home.
The pair told Police that they had been assaulted and then threatened with a cross-bow.
The home was empty, and 'Dash' was needed to track the 32 year old suspect through neighbouring yards.
That male, from Armstrong, was arrested without incident, and faces two counts of assault, and assault with a weapon.
The victims sustained only minor injuries.
The suspect was due for a court appearence today.
