DNA Tests Confirm Remains At Crash Site As Those Of Missing Couple

Revelstoke RCMP and the B.C Coroner's Service say that human remains found at the site of a plane crash near Revelstoke are indeed those of a couple who went missing last year.

28 year old Dominic Neron was with his 31 year old girlfriend Ashley Bourgeault on a trip from Penticton to Edmonton in November of last year.

The crash site was spotted in September by an ambulance service helicopter pilot.

Police announced on Friday that DNA tests confirmed the remains as those of Neron and Bourgeault.

No further details have been released at this time.
