Driver Sustains Minor Injuries In Tappen-Area Crash

RCMP in Salmon Arm say that a driver suffered only minor injuries following a Wednesday morning accident in Tappen.

Police say that the 44 year old local woman overcorrected while driving, causing her vehicle to leave the Highway and travel 50 feet down an embankment.

The vehicle rolled a number of times before finally coming to a rest.

That accident happened around 4:30 in the morning, and was reported by a third party.

RCMP say that the female from Salmon Arm was taken to hospital to be checked over.
