Early-Season Storm Leaves Dump Of Snow At Rogers Pass

Highway One's Rogers Pass area has been slammed with snow over the past two days.

Environment Canada's Matt Macdonald has word on how much came down between Sunday night and Tuesday morning, saying "There's 29cms on the ground up at the Pass."

Macdonald tell us that it's a big number for this time of year, saying "For the first snowfall of the year.. 30cms of snow on the ground is a pretty challenging way to start off the season."

He says that the final total by the end of today will likely be closer to 40cms.

That's all set to melt off over the next few days, starting Wednesday.
