Four Injured In Tuesday Accident Near Grindrod

A Tuesday morning crash on Highway 97A, South of Grindrod, could bring charges against a Salmon Arm resident.

Police say that two smaller vehicles collided head-on, causing a three hour Highway closure.

Four people were transported from that scene for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police say that one of those vehicles had crossed the centre-line, and note that an 18 year from Salmon Arm could face charges under the Motor Vehicle Act.

A release states that drugs and alcohol were not a factor.
